This morning, Kensington Palace unveiled the photo Prince William and Kate Middleton are using on their Christmas card. The picture-perfect shot features the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their children, Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, on palace grounds.
The family of four avoid a festive red-and-white color scheme in favor of matching blue outfits for the portrait, which was taken earlier this year by royal photographer Chris Jackson. It appears the Duchess, who is currently pregnant with her and the Duke's third child, wasn't yet showing her baby bump when the photo was shot.
They look so sweet:
The royal family has opted for equally adorable family portraits in recent years. This candid, from their tour of Canada in 2016, appeared on their card last year:

In addition to revealing their annual Christmas card photo, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also announced where Princess Charlotte will be going to nursery school. The two-year-old will attend Willcocks Nursery School in London starting in January 2018. The school is "delighted" to accept the Princess as a new student. "We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January," it said in a statement.
Charlotte's big brother Prince George also began school at the age of two. However, he attended Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk, England—near the family's country home, Amner Hall—starting in January 2016. He now attends Thomas's Battersea in London, where he began in September this year. We're sure the Princess's first-day photos will be just as adorable as his were.
