I’mma let you finish, but — that costume is straight-up racist. A fifth grade teacher from Alabama found himself in the middle of an Internet firestorm on Monday, Oct. 26, after his wife posted a photo of the two of them dressed as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — with a not-so-PC twist.
In the controversial photo, Heath Morrow, who works at Chestnut Grove Elementary School in Decatur, Ala., dons blackface and wears a backwards red baseball cap and West’s signature plastic frames to mimic the “Bound 2” rapper. He also holds up a sign that reads “Kanye for Prez 2020.”
Next to him, his wife Shannon appears to be dressed as West’s wife with a padded derriere and leopard-print stilettos.
The couple are seen leaning against a fireplace mantel with framed photos of several young children and babies behind them.
According to Rawstory.com, Shannon initially posted the since-deleted photo to her Facebook page on Sunday, with the comment, “Haha some people thought Heath was really a black man.”
The real-life Kardashian, 35, has been no stranger to offenders of blackface herself.
In February 2014, the reality star and her mother, Kris Jenner, were attending the Vienna Opera Ball in Austria when a prankster named Chris Stephan lunged at her while she was posing for photos, dressed in a white tux, top hat, and full blackface.

“Kim, it’s me!” he yelled. “It’s me! Kanye!”
Kardashian later said on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that the incident was a “sick joke.”
“I can’t believe there’s this guy in full blackface,” she said on the show. “I am just so confused. I don’t get why him or anyone else would find this funny.”
